Every bride should consider this fact... after the wedding, the reception hall will be cleaned up, the tuxedos will be returned, the wedding dress will be put away in storage, the flowers will slowly wilt, but... only two items will remain forever, your love for each other...and the photographs. Cut corners where you can, but hiring uncle Joe with his new digital camera may be the biggest disappointment of the day. Do yourself and your family a big favor... hire a professional!
Selecting a Wedding Photographer
If you are like most brides, the first question you'll ask any prospective wedding photographer is..."how much?" Unfortunately, going with the least expensive option may not be your best decision. Although my prices are more than reasonable for Southern California, I hope the discussions below will help you decide on the best value for your wedding, even if it's not me you hire.
1. What is the photographer's style? 2. What is the photographer's experience? 3. Does the photographer belong to the Professional Photographers of America? 4. A full time studio, or part-timer? 5. Does the photographer shoot with digital, film or both? 6. Are black and white or special effects offered? 7. What does the package pricing include? 8. Is the photographer confident in himself? 9. Can the photographer design a package just for me?
