Carefully read what the package includes. Much like other businesses, some photographers may include "hidden charges". You may be charged extra if you request proof sheets of all your images. You may be charged extra if you want your digital images on CD. The list goes on. Most package pricing will detail the amount of time a photographer will spend with you, the minimum amount of images he will present to you, and possibly album choices. All photographer will charge extra for additional hours of coverage, but again, buyer beware, some may charge rather steep fees when asked to stay longer. I you are highly confidant and satisfied with your photographer, these extra fees may be acceptable to you, just be aware of the extra costs ahead of time. In the heat of the moment, you may not realize how much more it will cost for just an extra hour of coverage.
