If the photographer shoots with digital cameras, this is a mute point since digital images can be changed to black and white or have special effects applied on the computer. If the photographer uses film, this becomes a more costly process since different film must be loaded and different effects filters may be required. Some photographers may charge extra for these services.
I do not charge an additional fee for black and white or for most special effects since the majority of my work is with digital cameras. If you need large wall portraits, which I shoot on film, we will discuss any additional charge on a case by case basis, depending on your requests and requirements. Even so, the additional charges are minimal.
